2026 History/Geography Expo and Come to Life Museum Information
We are happy to announce that this year's History/Geography Expo and Come to Life Museum will be on Friday, April 17th at Christ Presbyterian Church from 6pm-8pm.
Set up for those in the Come to Life Museum will start at 4:30pm and set up for the Expo will start at 5:30pm.
This is a one-of-a-kind event where children and families can show what they have learned in history and geography this year, and families will have the chance to take a Come To Life tour and see historical figures come to life right before their eyes!
Here are some things you need to know:
1. Registration is required for those who want to display in the Expo or present a Come To Life Character. You will find the registration buttons on the member side homepage. Once you sign up to display a project, you will receive more detailed instructions about how to participate in the event. But don't worry. It's easy!
2. There are 3 ways to display: 1. present a history project (any age), 2. present a geography project (any age), or 3. present a character in the Come To Life Museum (10 and up). We can only take 4 Come to Life Presentations.
3. You do not have to display a project or Come To Life character to come and enjoy the event, but we strongly encourage you to! It's fun and rewarding, and of course...we don't have an event without you!
4. Only HOME members can present projects and Come To Life characters at this event, but all homeschool families, friends and extended family are invited to come and enjoy the displays. There will be a history scavenger hunt, food samples, displays, and of course the Come To Life tour.
5. If you are interested in displaying a project or Come To Life character, NOW IS THE TIME to start thinking about your topics or characters. Over the next few days we will help you with your ideas.
GET EXCITED!!!
