"Enchanted Garden"  Prom 2026

Saturday April 11, 2026

7:00-10:00pm

The Rustic Rose Hall – 3815 Emma Cannon Road Ayden, NC 28513

Ticket prices are as follows for this event:  HOME Members $50; Non-HOME Members $60.  Tickets may be purchased on HOME’s website, www.nchomegroup.org, by clicking the “Enchanted Garden" HOME Prom 2026 Tickets” button on the public or private homepage. There you will be able to fill out the Prom Registration Packet. Once you submit your information form you will be able to purchase your Prom ticket(s).  Feel free to share this information with your other homeschool friends!  Ticket sales will end by Friday, March 27th unless they sell out prior to that date.  All ticket sales are final. There will be no refunds. Ticket sales are opening earlier than expected, which is wonderful, but spaces are still limited. So do not delay in purchasing your student’s ticket – what a great Christmas gift!

General Information

This event is for homeschooled students in 9th-12th grade (ages 14-18). Each registered homeschooler may bring a guest. Guests must purchase a ticket, complete all forms and meet the grade/age requirements, but are welcome regardless of whether they are a homeschooled student. All attendees must adhere to HOME’s Code of Conduct and dress code.  Both attendees and parents/guardians are responsible to read, acknowledge and agree to all policies in place for prom.

On-site that evening there will be a professional photographer, a talented DJ, delicious hors d'oeuvres, treats and drinks, multiple photo locations inside and outside for snapshots, door prizes, giveaways and much more. Your teen will not want to miss this amazing event!  Please feel free to spread the word and invite other homeschoolers who may be interested in attending!

On the night of the event, doors will open at 6:30pm so that you can sign in your student and take a few candid snapshots before dropping them off for the evening. The Rustic Rose Hall has an on-site security team and HOME will have plenty of parent chaperones at the event to ensure your student’s safety as well as to enforce all Dress Code and Code of Conduct guidelines. Please plan to return promptly at 10pm to sign out your student(s).

If your student will be driving themselves to the event, they will need to check in with the chaperones at the door upon arrival and will be expected to remain on site for the duration of the event. This is for safety and liability reasons and there will be no exceptions without express parental permission. There will be no re-entry.

Please note our planning team will send out an email with specific details/schedule/parking, etc. closer to the date of prom.

Dress Code
Please note that if your student’s dress/outfit does not meet the rules listed below they will be denied entry with no refund.

Ladies

We recognize that every body type is unique and that there are many shapes and sizes, so we will take this into consideration when approving dresses. If you are unsure whether your student is in compliance with the dress code, please send a picture of the attendee in the dress to Jennifer Byers at 919-757-1129. A word of advice when trying on dresses is to move around, do a little dance, jump up and down, lift your arms, etc. and make sure the dress stays secure. Your student will have more fun and feel more confident in a dress that she doesn’t have to “adjust” all evening!

Gentlemen

Formal attire is expected. Please ensure that your student’s clothing selections meet the rules listed below.

If you have any questions about dress code for the ladies or gentlemen, please email Jennifer Byers at [email protected] or call/text at 919-757-1129.

In addition to the HOME Code of Conduct, please be adhere to the following rules as they relate in particular to this event:

1. Dance Etiquette and Behavior
No body against body
No groping
No provocative movements

2. Attendees are not allowed to go outside the venue, even to their vehicle, unless specifically directed by chaperones. All students will be signed in at the beginning of the event and signed out at the end of the event.

3. Absolutely no tobacco, alcohol, weapons, smoking devices, vaping, or drugs of any nature are permitted at the prom.

4. No inappropriate public displays of affection with persons of either sex.

If a student is in violation of the Code of Conduct, their parent will be contacted to come and get them. No refund will be issued.

Parents, we want you to know that the same incredible planning and effort that has been directed into HOME's Middle School Semi-Formal over the past several years is now also being poured into creating a dazzling prom night for our high school students! Our goal is the same, which is to celebrate and encourage our high schoolers and to help them connect with each other. We want to provide a safe and fun environment where memories are created and friendships are deepened, leading to a positive experience they will carry with them for years to come!
